Our mission is to enable our clients to achieve and sustain high-performance organizations that positively impact their customers, stakeholders, and communities.
There are five core values that guide our work:

Our culture
What our logo symbolizes
To show how the Five Key Drivers of High Performance are both independently important and uniquely connected, we’ve created a “star” logo to symbolize our strategy. Each equal point represents one of the Five Key Drivers and overlaps with the others to form a “core” star. While each driver stands on its own, Star Performance optimizes and integrates all Five Key Drivers to enable our clients to achieve and sustain high performance.
Our “green” office space
Our “green” office occupies a light-filled, 100-year-old former bedding factory located in one of Pittsburgh’s most historic North Shore neighborhoods. We’ve incorporated environmentally friendly design features that promote creativity, teamwork, collaboration, and individual wellness. View photos of our new offices.
How we measure our culture
We conduct an annual culture and individual leadership 360 survey to assess our strengths, identify top challenges, and define action items that will enable us to work toward turning our challenges into strengths. Our performance management process aligns the goals of each of our staff to those of the company.
Our commitment to making a difference
Five Star is committed to making a difference in the communities that we directly impact. Through our Five Star Cares program, we provide opportunities for staff to volunteer their time and make a financial commitment to select charitable organizations. Five Star recently sponsored companywide volunteer events at the Jubilee Soup Kitchen and Meyers Ridge Honor Roll Program. Our employees also have the option of taking a paid day off to volunteer for a charity organization of their choice.
