David N. Colaizzi – CEO, Chief Technology Officer, and Cofounder
As CEO/CTO of Five Star, Dave provides consultation services in project analysis and design. Dave has consulted with numerous Fortune 1000 corporations, colleges, universities, and software development firms in the areas of software design and development, business processes, technology, and project management. His clients include BNYMellon, the former Fore Systems, Ford Motor Company, Mylan Pharmaceuticals, and Visa, Inc. Dave speaks regularly at the eLearning Guild Annual Gathering, eLearning Guild Rapid eLearning Development Online Symposium, and Linkage.
Dave holds a dual major bachelor degree in Business Administration and Italian Cultural Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. He is also a member of The Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence at the University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business. Dave has taught as an adjunct faculty member for Duquesne University’s Master’s in Multimedia program and coaches youth basketball. He created and implemented Five Star Cares, a Five Star employee run volunteer program that works to make a positive impact in the Pittsburgh community.
Lou Camerlengo – President and Cofounder
Lou is responsible for business development and client relations at Five Star. Lou’s role is to make sure Five Star clients are 100 percent satisfied every step of the way. Lou has extensive experience in account and project management for corporations, including Education Management Corporation, Federated Investors, Ford Motor Credit Company, Bank of New York Mellon, PNC Financial Services Group, U.S. Steel, and Visa International.
Lou holds bachelor's degree in Communications Studies with a minor in British history from the State University College of New York at Oswego. Lou also is a graduate of the Entrepreneurial Management and Technology Commercialization programs at the Carnegie Mellon Graduate School of Industrial Administration.
Lou has served on the Allegheny Conference for Community and Economic Development, serves as a lay leader at his local church, and volunteers as a mock interviewer for the Semper Fi Wounded Warriors program.
Angel Lehrian – Director, Human Resources
Angel brings more than 15 years of operations management and human resource management experience to the Five Star team. Angel has worked as the Director of Operations for Nutri/System, where she managed 156 Corporate Weight Loss Centers. Her Human Resource background includes recruiting, employee relations, harassment training, and benefits administration. Angel holds a bachelor's degree in Communications from Wilson College, where she was awarded the Grace Tyson Slictor Award for her outstanding achievement in Communications.
Cory Seaman – Director, Research and IT Services
Cory is Five Star’s most senior employee and has been with the company since its inception in 1997. From creative design to implementation, Cory has extensive software development expertise and holds the sought-after Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) credential. Cory has developed projects for clients including the former Fore Systems, Ford Credit, BNYMellon, PPG Industries, and Visa , Inc. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Houghton College.
Rob Schultz – Director, Production Services
Rob is the Director of Production Services at Five Star Development. In this role he is responsible for overseeing the development, multimedia, and project management teams within the organization. Rob has served as a Senior Interactive Director at Education Management Corporation, overseeing the strategic direction of several marketing websites, as well as team members within the Marketing department. He is experienced in leading large custom development projects, managing Search Engine Marketing accounts for Fortune 1000 companies, and conducting global IT and Financial audits at the Fortune 500 level. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Duquesne University and is a certified Project Management Professional.
