Junior .Net Developer – Hourly Contract Position

The .NET Developer will contribute to the technical excellence of a variety of Five Star deliverables.  The contractor will work closely with other developers and project managers to develop a variety of SQL Server database driven websites and applications for corporate clients, usually in intranet scenarios. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to quickly pick up new techniques and technologies, as well as possess a quality focus in doing the job right the first time.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server 2000 or 2005 technologies.
  • Additional skills with AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, and XML would be beneficial.
  • Developers will work in Visual Studio 2005 or Visual Studio 2008. Experience in one of these environments is required.
  • The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and a minimum of one year experience working with .Net technologies.

This is a contract position with the possibility of contract-to-hire.

e-Learning Instructional Designer Contractor

The e-Learning Instructional Designer will work with Five Star’s creative staff and clients to produce a wide variety of instructional materials. Focus will be on e-Learning and Web based training. The candidate must be able and willing to perform all parts of Instructional Design process including but not limited to Analysis, story boarding, content writing, and editing. The ideal candidate will work at a fast pace and have consultative experience with external, commercial clients.

Requirements

  • Candidates should have at least 4 years experience in the workplace as a web based instructional designer.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with Lectora and Captivate.
  • A knowledge of and willingness to follow the ADDIE process is required.
  • A Bachelors Degree in Instructional Design or a related curriculum is a plus.
