Five Star solutions for higher education and workforce development will be showcased.
A non-profit organization, the AACC – American Association of Community Colleges – has held an overarching mission to “Build a Nation of Learners by Advancing America’s Community Colleges” for more than nine decades. The 24th Annual AACC’s Workforce Development Institute 2017 (WDI) will gather more than 600 economic and workforce leaders at community colleges for the purpose of holding in-depth exchanges on today’s higher education challenges as it relates to aligning workforce supply with demand.
The 2017 conference theme, “Inspiring Innovation,” examines these challenges and offers inspired solutions. A range of topics will be covered during the event, including strengthening public and private sector partnerships, providing structure to the career pathways process, strengthening the talent pipeline, and more.
