Tell us a little about yourself.
I am originally from the South Hills of Pittsburgh but moved to the Penn Trafford area a couple of years ago with my girlfriend, dog, and two cats. I am a huge fan of sports, Pittsburgh teams being my favorite, of course! Penguins, Steelers, sadly the Pirates, but the pirates too! My career started shortly after I earned my degree in healthcare administration from Ohio University in 2013.

What brought you to fivestar*?
So, I was working as a project manager for Highmark Health Insurance for the past 3.5 to 4 years and I decided I wanted to transition to a smaller company. Prior to Highmark, I had worked as a project manager in a smaller company, and I wanted to get back into that area. I guess like working for smaller companies due to the family-oriented atmosphere and the fact that you are not just a number in a large organization. I also wanted to broaden my horizons, not just focusing on health care and health insurance. I would like to be able to do more work outside of healthcare, touching on different industries and seeing what they are doing.
What are you most excited to get started on?
I am excited to get to know everybody at the company and begin working with new clients in different industries. Here at fivestar* I expect to work on larger, more beneficial projects that I can see a difference in the work that I am doing rather than a lot of minute small projects that I typically would not get to see results for. I am excited to actually make an impact while working for this company.
Describe your role as a Project Manager.
My role in workforce is Project Manager. I am responsible for producing a plan to solve our clients needs and working with them to define a schedule/timeline. Likewise, in a collaborative effort, the work I do involves keeping projects on track, on scope, and under budget.
What are your hobbies?
In my free time, I tend to focus on spending time with friends, family, and my girlfriend. My friends and I bond through playing golf; I would say I am getting pretty good at it, in fact! Given my Italian background, I also enjoy cooking, especially using fresh produce from the little garden in my backyard!
What’s a unique fact about yourself?
Fun fact - aside from my Healthcare Administration degree, I am licensed in Real Estate Agent and appreciate renting out properties as well as remodeling/updating my own house.
