To connect with thought leaders in the nonprofit technology sector, and to share best practices to help organizations amplify efficiencies, empower people, and boost productivity, fivestar* President and Cofounder Lou Camerlengo will attend and present a 90-minute session at The 2018 Nonprofit Technology Conference (NTC) taking place April 11 – 13, 2018 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
NTC is produced by the Nonprofit Technology Network (NTEN) and is their signature annual gathering, designed to help organizations learn how technology helps them meet their missions and create more social good. More than 2,000 nonprofit professionals will come together for 100+ sessions exploring technologies, strategies, and trends in the nonprofit sector. NTEN staff work with community advisory committees to shape and select NTC’s session content.
Mr. Camerlengo will be presenting a session entitled “Online Engagement for Offline Action: Man vs. Machine? Envisioning “IT” Better Together” with Christine Kirby, Neighborhood Legal Services Association. Ms. Kirby serves as the Director of Resource Development and Statewide Support Team for the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network (PLAN). Applying outcome-focused perspectives, their session offers insights into how technology innovations can address a variety of process challenges, providing attendees with useful ways to discover and leverage technology that accelerates access and improves efficiencies.
fivestar* is a proud member of the NTEN community, and will also showcase the GoodWorks platform, which provides social service nonprofits with a personalized system for client intake, triage, and service orientation — saving precious time and resources. GoodWorks premiered as one of the eight finalists in UpPrize, the world’s first impact investing fund coupled with a research-based social innovation challenge.
